ALTOONA — Minor league baseball teams go through player personnel turnover from year to year.
The Altoona Curve are no different. But, this year's team is loaded with players, who have experience at the MILB Double-A level.
The opening day roster has 15 players that spent time with the Curve during the 2018 campaign.
This group will be led by third-year Curve Manager Michael Ryan. He has directed the club to two straight division titles, during his time in Altoona.
Ryan expects this year to be another successful season.
"I'm excited. I'm honored," Ryan said. "I think this is the best-run minor league franchise in baseball."
The Curve open the season at the Akron Rubberducks on Thursday, April 2. The team's home-opener is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, against the Rubberducks.
