After a two-year hiatus, the 16th annual Jackson Township Heritage Festival returned this weekend.

Organizers say there's something for everybody in the entire family to enjoy:

Live music, over 70 food and craft vendors, a basket raffle and kids’ activities, including a petting zoo and face painting.

"I think for the community it's just a big homecoming for most of them. I've noticed a lot from out of town that are back visiting. We got a lot of compliments last night and today about how happy the community and the visitors are just that we're back,” said Theresa Schmidt, festival staff member.

The festivities will continue Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
