The 5-year-old daughter of former Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is making headlines after sending her dad a sweet, loving note following the Vegas Golden Knights' (Fleury's current team) most recent loss.

Vegas is currently matched up against the Colorado Avalanche in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and trails in the series 2-0.

Fleury's daughter, Scarlett, however, is not focusing on the losses and expressed her love and admiration for her dad in a handwritten letter, which was shared to Instagram Thursday by Fleury's wife Veronica.

“Last nite you made me happy Dad. You stop pucks and that made me proud Dad. I love you! Keep stoping ol (all) the pucks. In my hart you are the best goly (goalie),” her note said.

Young Scarlett even completed the note with a drawing of her dad in net.

Fleury spent 14 seasons in a Penguins uniform, helping them win three Stanley Cups, before being selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in 2017 as part of the NHL's expansion draft.
