Annual Ridgway Firemen's Carnival cancelled, fire department says

RIDGWAY, Pa (WJAC) — The Ridgway Fire Department announced that it has decided to cancel its annual Carnival, scheduled for early July, according to a Facebook post.

"After much discussion and consideration, the Ridgway Fire Department has deemed it necessary to cancel the 2020 Carnival due to COVID-19," the post states.

Officials added that they are still planning on hosting other events later in the year and that their annual Gun Bash is still scheduled for October.
