582 area code to join 814, requiring 10-digit dialing
JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — Have you started using all 10 digits when you make a telephone call?
Starting Saturday, you will have to dial 814 before any number you call, or you will get a recorded message prompting you to hang up and redial with the area code.
This is ahead of the new 582 overlay area code which will be assigned to new telephone numbers once the available supply in the current 814 area code is exhausted.

Woman killed in early morning weekend crash in Cambria County
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. — A Blairsville woman has died as the result of a single-vehicle crash in West Carroll Township early Sunday morning, Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said.
According to Lees, Hannah Adams was travelling north on Deveaux Street just before 1:30 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve.
Lees said that Adams then lost control and hit a dumpster before striking a parked car.
According to Lees, Adams was taken to Conemaugh Miners Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at around 2:45 a.
Police still searching for PA woman's daughter 31 years after murder
A woman who was brutally murdered over thirty years ago has finally been identified but authorities are still searching for her missing daughter.
Police say Christine Belusko’s daughter, Christa Nicole Belusko, was last seen with her mom in September of 1991 at a lodge near Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. She was just two years old.
Today, she would be thirty-three.
Her mother's body was found brutally beaten, strangled, and burned on Staten Island’s east shore in 1991.
Johnstown man found guilty of first-degree murder in 2017 beating death of woman
EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — A Cambria County jury found a Johnstown man guilty of first-degree murder and aggravated assault Friday in the brutal slaying of a woman and dumping of her body in an alley trash area.
Police had charged 56-year-old Larry Fason in the November 2017 death of 32-year-old Angela Lunn after her body was found in an alley near the intersection of Bell Alley and Messenger Street in the Hornerstown section of the city.

Mid-air collision grounds planes for about 2 hours at Wisconsin air show
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLUK) — Authorities are investigating a mid-air collision involving two aircrafts at the EAA AirVenture show in Wisconsin on Saturday.

Dick Knapinski, director of communications for EAA, said it happened at 12:24 p.m. at the south end of the EAA AirVenture flight line at Wittman Regional Airport.
