CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities are responding to a brush fire in Clearfield, according to county dispatch.
According to PA 511, the fire began near Mt Joy Road and Goshen Road Monday afternoon.
It is unclear at this time if the fire is threatening any surrounding buildings.
Authorities say there is a traffic disruption.

Annual Jackson Township Heritage Festival returns
CAMBRIA CO, Pa (WJAC) — After a two-year hiatus, the 16th annual Jackson Township Heritage Festival returned this weekend.
Organizers say there's something for everybody in the entire family to enjoy:
Live music, over 70 food and craft vendors, a basket raffle and kids’ activities, including a petting zoo and face painting.

Two men face assault charges after altercation led to stabbing at Emporium Sheetz
EMPORIUM, Pa (WJAC) — Police say two men are facing assault charges following an altercation at the Emporium Sheetz earlier this week that led to one of the men stabbing the other, according to a criminal complaint.
Authorities say 24-year-old Dakota Brown, of Troutville, and 28-year-old Cody Saltsman, of Port Allegheny, are each facing charges after Brown stabbed Saltsman in the chest following an altercation.

Volunteers stock thousands of trout into Little Conemaugh River
Cambria County, Pa. (WJAC) — The Little Conemaugh River was stocked with fish in Cambria County on Saturday afternoon.
Volunteers released trout from the Route 53 Bridge in Wilmore to the breast of the Wilmore Dam.
The Wilmore Sportsman's Club raises about 8,000 of these trout every year, according to Marlin Minor, a long-time member of the club.

Stowaway scorpion stings Pennsylvania man after vacation
WARMINSTER -- A Pennsylvania man is recovering after he was stung by a scorpion that somehow got into his backpack while he was on vacation in the Caribbean.
The 22-year-old Warminster resident had returned home from St. Thomas and reached into the pack to get his computer when he was stung.
Buddy Mullen of A-1 Exterminators tells WPVI-TV in Philadelphia the scorpion disappeared in the man's bedroom. Mullen's team flipped the sheets and the scorpion fell to the floor.
Kalen DeBoer leaving University of Washington to replace Nick Saban as Alabama head coach
SEATTLE (KOMO) — University of Washington football coach Kalen DeBoer, who led the Huskies to the national championship game in his second season, told UW officials Friday he was leaving to replace Nick Saban at Alabama.
ESPN first reported that DeBoer was negotiating with Alabama on Friday. ESPN's Pete Thamel and The Associated Press both reported that new Washington athletic director Troy Dannen made an aggressive pitch to keep DeBoer, 49, who inherited a 4-8 Washington team and guided them to an 11-2 ledger in 2022 and a 14-1 record this past fall.
Rare, two-headed rattlesnake found in New Jersey forest
PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- It looks like something from a science fiction movie.
A newborn two-headed timber rattlesnake has been found in New Jersey's Pine Barrens. Herpetological Associates of Burlington County CEO Bob Zappalorti says the snake has two brains and each head acts independently of the other.
Two employees at the organization spotted the reptile in a nest where a timber rattlesnake was giving birth late last month.
