WASHINGTON (TND) — President Joe Biden is stuck in a difficult political predicament with protests spreading across college campuses that have resulted in hundreds of arrests, dominated headlines and led to multiple graduation ceremonies being canceled as the war between Israel and Hamas rages on.
The protests have grown on campuses around the country as students at some of the most notable schools in the U.S. have set up encampments calling for their schools to divest from Israel.

Man commits suicide at hotel after being approached by police for questioning
UPDATE:EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says a man found dead at an Ebensburg hotel Wednesday night shot himself after police approached him to question him about an active investigation.
Lees says the incident happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday when police approached the Quality Inn along Route 22 to question 39-year-old Kenneth Kim.
According to Lees, Kim ran into his first-floor hotel room when he saw police.

Video shows road rage incident before trooper fatally shoots man in Washington state
EVERETT, Wash. (KOMO) — A Washington State Patrol (WSP) trooper shot and killeda man armed with a hammer who was involved in a “road rage incident," according to authorities. The Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team (SMART) said troopers responded to the road rage incident on the shoulder of Interstate 5 near Marine View Drive in Everett just after 4 p.m. Thursday.
SMART spokesperson Courtney O'Keefe said the man had rammed a Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) contractor vehicle and a lift that was on the shoulder of the highway.
At least 1 injured in 8-vehicle crash on I-99, Blair County officials say
BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Blair County officials say at least one person was injured in an eight-vehicle crash on Interstate 99 Tuesday morning.
According to officials, I-99 was shut down for several hours as crews worked to clean up the crash.
Dispatchers say I-99 north bound was closed at Exit 15 in Claysburg and Exit 23 in East Freedom Township.
Several commercial vehicles were involved in the crash and at least one person was taken to the hospital.
Pizza shop owner facing charges for indecent contact with underage employees
PORTAGE, Pa. (WJAC) — A Portage man and pizza shop owner is facing charges after police said he had indecent contact with his underage employees, according to a criminal complaint.
Investigators said 37-year-old Craig Mazzarese, owner of Craig Mazz’s Pizza in Portage, made sexual comments, exposed himself and inappropriately touched at least one of his employees this past summer.
One of the victims, a 16-year-old, told police that Mazzarese would make sexually suggestive comments about her appearance and what she was wearing.
Man stung over 400 times; man, hive saved
SAN ANTONIO (WOAI/KABB) — A Texas man was stung more than 400 times by honey bees.
"Bee wranglers" with the American Honey Bee Protection Agency removed and relocated a colony of bees from an abandoned boat in a wooded area in San Antonio on Thursday.
Hector Ramirez, a real estate agent, was stung by the bees on May 2 while he and his father were clearing land with a tractor.
Bo Bassett ready for Budapest
JOHNSTOWN, PA - Bo Bassett was only six years old when he won his first world championship. Now at the age of 14, Bassett will be back on the world championship mats. Bassett, an upcoming eighth grader at Bishop McCort, will travel to Budapest, Hungary next week for the Cadet World Championships. Bassett will represent America on the World Team for USA Wrestling. Even though he has eight years of experience since his last world tournament, his mom and dad still had to sign a permission slip for Bo to go.
