On remote trail, man stumbles upon heavy, mysterious object possibly from outer space

HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A Haywood County man is sharing his story after just discovering a strange object that may have been from outer space. So far, the object hasn’t been inspected by aerospace experts, but the discovery has a lot of people scratching their heads. Justin Clontz, who’s a grounds maintenance worker, found it earlier this week along a remote trail on a property owned byThe Glamping Collective. The unidentified object is about three feet high, and it’s so heavy that the worker had to tow it out of the trail using a lawn mower.

Road closed near Nittany Mall for sinkhole

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- East College Avenue near the Nittany Mall has reopened after PennDOT crews fixed a sinkhole that was discovered Saturday. Tribune Democrat moving to 5-day publishing schedule

JOHNSTOWN -- On Wednesday evening, a Johnstown staple of over 100 years announced it was cutting back publishing to 5-days-a-week. The Tribune Democrat will now publish on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 18-year-old drowns in Quemahoning Reservoir

PITTSBURGH (WPXI) — Four former PetSmart employees in Pittsburgh have been charged in the death of a toy poodle. A.J. Ross brought her toy poodle Kobe to this PetSmart store to be groomed last November. When she came to pick up the dog, he was dead. Ross then rushed Kobe to a nearby animal hospital, but after 15 minutes of CPR, hospital staff pronounced the dog dead. All four former employees are facing felony animal cruelty and neglect charges for their alleged role in the dog's death, which happened during a nail trim.
