15 face felony drug charges after Cambria County bust
JOHNSTOWN – Fifteen people are facing felony drug charges after a warrant sweep in Cambria County during the past 24 hours, officials said Thursday.
The Cambria County Drug Task Force conducted the raid, along with several other law enforcement agencies.
All individuals in custody have been transported to Central Booking for processing.
Nine of the 15 individuals are in custody, officials said.

Trump hush money deliberations continue as jury revisits key testimonies
NEW YORK (AP) — The jury in former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial resumed deliberations Thursday after revisiting portions of the judge's instructions and rehearing testimony from multiple key witnesses about the alleged scheme at the heart of the history-making case.
The judge responded to a jury request by rereading 30 pages of jury instructions. The 12-person jury, which deliberated for about 4 1/2 hours Wednesday without reaching a verdict, also reheard testimony Thursday morning from a tabloid publisher and Trump's former lawyer and personal fixer.

Pennsylvania liquor stores open for King Day, other holidays
HARRISBURG -- Hundreds of Pennsylvania's state-owned liquor stores will be open for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as well as on other holidays for the first time in the coming year.
A state law enacted last year allows the Liquor Control Board to operate on the holiday being celebrated Monday, as well as for Presidents Day, Memorial Day and Independence Day.
Stores that are normally scheduled to be open on Mondays will be open on the holidays, but not the stores that are normally closed on Mondays.
Altoona woman charged after man accidentally stabs himself in the neck
ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — An Altoona woman is facing charges after police say a heated argument on Christmas ended with a man accidentally stabbing himself in the neck.
According to a criminal complaint, Altoona police were dispatched to the 400 block of Cherry Avenue Christmas night after a man was stabbed in the neck.
Police say when officers arrived on scene, they spoke with 36-year-old Holly Gordon, who provided them with several false names.
Cambria County Prison introducing new 'bio-grade' air filtration for health and savings
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials are hoping a new air filtration system at the Cambria County Prison will help save tax payers money.
The county recently taking advantage of a grant to install a level five bio-grade security health system.
Cambria County is only one of four in the state taking advantage so far, according to county leaders.
The system will be installed by Germ Solutions USA.
It's supposed to mitigate airborne and surface pathogens throughout the facility.
Man accused of assaulting two people with wooden club, taunting shotgun
COALPORT, Pa. (WJAC) — State police say a man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting two people at a Minit Mart and threatening them with a shotgun.
According to a release, troopers say the incident happened at the Coalport Minit Mart along Main Street sometime around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Troopers say 59-year-old Kenneth Selvage assaulted a 38-year-old man and 35-year-old woman with a wooden club. According to the release, Selvage went to his vehicle and got a shotgun.
3 inside truck killed in 'devastating accident' after Amtrak train collision
NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (TND) — An Amtrak passenger train that collided into a pickup truck last week killed three people inside.
The crash described as a "devastating accident" by officials in upstate New York claimed the lives of two adults and a young child.
A 6-year-old boy, a 66-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man died at the scene in North Tonawanda Friday evening, Captain Daryl Truty said in a statement posted on Saturday.
