The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially revealed their initial 53-man roster for the 2023 NFL season.

Teams around the league had until 4 p.m. Tuesday to make the necessary roster moves.

Among the Steelers' notable roster cuts includes the release of tight end Zach Gentry.

Gentry was drafted by Pittsburgh in the 5th round of the 2019 draft.

He has played in 40 career games with the Steelers, recording 39 receptions for 303 yards.

If Gentry clears the league's waiver process, and is not signed by another team, the Steelers will have the opportunity to add him to their practice squad.
