CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Likely more than a dozen cars were broken into Wednesday night in Ferndale Borough, according to police.
The borough's police chief Adam Richards says they are still taking calls from people saying valuables, including money, wallets and phone chargers were reportedly taken out of the cars.
Police say they are also investigating one car theft at this time.
Officials say many of the cars were unlocked, as only about two were locked and broken into.
Chief Richards is asking for anyone living in the area that has a surveillance camera to check the footage from Wednesday night and to contact Cambria County non-emergency dispatchers at (814) 472-2100.
Police say more information will be released as the investigation continues.
