A Portage man and pizza shop owner is facing charges after police said he had indecent contact with his underage employees, according to a criminal complaint.

Investigators said 37-year-old Craig Mazzarese, owner of Craig Mazz’s Pizza in Portage, made sexual comments, exposed himself and inappropriately touched at least one of his employees this past summer.

One of the victims, a 16-year-old, told police that Mazzarese would make sexually suggestive comments about her appearance and what she was wearing.

According to the complaint Mazzarese called her into the basement of the pizza shop and began touching himself and then exposed himself to her.

Another victim, who was 17, told police Mazzarese took her with him on a pizza delivery and made her uncomfortable with sexual comments, when they arrived back at the shop, Mazzarese began touching her upper thigh, but was interrupted by a Portage police officer who approached the vehicle.

Court documents show Mazzarese is facing a slew of charges including indecent exposure, and corruption of minors.

Documents show he was released on bond after posting his full $40,000 bail.
