ELK COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Elk County coroner Michelle Muccio-Krise has released the cause of death for a Saint Marys man who was found dead near a "culvert" Saturday evening in Johnsonburg Borough.
Officials say an autopsy determined that 43-year-old Benjamin Meyer died from "Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy complicated by chronic drug use."
Authorities say Meyer's body was found Saturday in an area along West Center Street, in Johnsonburg Borough.
The Elk County coroner's office says final toxicology results are still pending.

Authorities in Elk County say they are investigating the death of a man, whose body was reportedly found near a "culvert" Saturday evening in Johnsonburg Borough.
Elk County coroner Michelle Muccio-Krise has identified the man as 43-year-old Benjamin Meyer, of St. Marys.
Authorities say police were called to an area along West Center Street, around 6:20 p.m. Saturday, after Meyer was reportedly found deceased.
The coroner's office says there were "no significant wound or injuries" found on Meyer's body.
Officials say an autopsy was scheduled for Monday but no further details have been released at this time.
Johnsonburg Borough police are continuing to investigate the man's death.
