According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to sign veteran defensive-back Desmond King.

King was cut by the Houston Texans on Monday and will provide the Steelers with some additional cornerback depth.

King was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

In 95 career games, King has recorded 9 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and 7 fumble recoveries, with three total defensive touchdowns.

He also has 8.5 career sacks.
