While participants try to avoid 'cracking' eggs at Moneyman's Easter Egg Hunt, they'll still keep trying to 'crack' the code of who the Moneyman is.
"Giving prizes away is sweet, but it's really about the events. My events are pretty unique. I just like making them happy and bringing everyone together," Moneyman told 6 News.
The anonymous Moneyman has a secret identity and gives the community the chance to win prizes at events throughout the year.
"I just have all these ideas in my head of events I want to go to. If I don't make them happen, no one will."
He's hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Windber Recreation Park on Saturday night at 8:15 PM.
If you find the golden eggs, you can win diamond earrings or an iPhone 13 Pro.
"We have 4,000 eggs, 7,000 pieces of candy, 3,000 glow sticks, and 2 gold eggs," Moneyman told 6 News.
The Moneyman said the generosity of his sponsors -- Precious Metals & Diamond Company, Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber, and Memorial Highway Chevrolet -- for helping to make it possible.
Event photos will be taken by Photographs with Riss and artwork will be provided by Rex Designs.
Before these sponsors came into the picture, Moneyman said he had the idea -- to start doing scavenger hunts -- on one random night.
Now he's doing it again this Easter weekend.
"We're going to meet at the green pavilion right at the beginning of Windber Rec, where we'll hand out 3,000 glow sticks to the participants. Then we'll start on the sound of an airhorn, look for as many eggs as you can, then meet a the red pavilion at the end," Moneyman told 6 News.
The Moneyman has hosted scavenger hunts with $10,000 prizes and has given away items from AirPods to Playstations.
"Everyone always said there's nothing to do around here. So, I'm just trying to make that happen," he told 6 News.
Moneyman said, if you come to the Easter Egg Hunt, carpool with friends and family to save some parking spaces.
