One victim indentified in fatal five-vehicle crash

HAMILTON TWP, MONROE CO, (WOLF) — UPDATE:

The Lehigh and Monroe County Coroners have released the identities of two of the three victims from yesterday's fatal crash on Route 33.

Samantha Crich, 40-year-old of Wilkes-Barre

Bryan Franco, 25-year-old of Hellertown

Unnamed 14-year-old

Crich's family created a GoFundMe to assist with the funeral and other costly expenses.

State Police say that five vehicles were involved, including two tractor-trailers.

The victim, 40-year-old Samantha Crich, of Wilkes-Barre, is said to have died from multiple blunt-force injuries, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.

Officials say Crich was driving when her vehicle collided with one of the tractor-trailers at approximately 10:37 AM.

In addition to the coroner's office, PSP in Stroudsburg is also investigating.
