UPDATE:

Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says a man found dead at an Ebensburg hotel Wednesday night shot himself after police approached him to question him about an active investigation.

Lees says the incident happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday when police approached the Quality Inn along Route 22 to question 39-year-old Kenneth Kim.

According to Lees, Kim ran into his first-floor hotel room when he saw police.
