WESTMORELAND/SOMERSET CO, Pa (WJAC) — According to the PA Turnpike, a portion of the eastbound lane is now reopen.
The eastbound section of the crash scene is before the Donegal exit and motorists can now enter the highway at the Donegal, Somerset and Bedford exits.
Westbound lanes are still closed from Breezewood to New Stanton.

UPDATE:
NBC Affiliate WPXI is reporting that 5 people have died in the crash that occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday morning along the Turnpike, resulting in the highway being closed from New Stanton to Breezewood.
The crash involved three tractor trailers, a tour bus and a car, and nearly 60 others were also injured in the crash, WPXI says.
Emergency crews say that weather was not a factor in the crash.

A crash involving multiple commercial vehicles has closed part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike from Westmoreland County to Somerset County, according to dispatchers.
Somerset County dispatch confirmed that multiple crews, from Somerset County, responded to a crash around, 6 a.m. Sunday morning, that involved several tractor trailers, a tour bus and passenger vehicles, and reported that there are multiple fatalities.
The Turnpike also confirmed the crash and the road closure between the New Stanton and Breezewood exits, both lanes are currently shut down.
There are detours in place for both eastbound and westbound traffic.
