Fire crews from multiple area counties are continuing to battle a massive blaze at a Blair County lumberyard.

Officials say the fire initially broke out around 10:30 p.m. Monday at the US Lumber facility, located along Ward Drive, in Claysburg.

Blair County emergency officials say a state police fire marshal has since been called to the scene.

Authorities say no injuries were reported and all of the workers were able to escape the blaze without harm.

Fire officials say the building is a "total loss."

Officials in Greenfield Township are also asking residents to conserve their water usage as crews continue to battle the flames.

Due to the structure fire in Claysburg we are asking residents to please conserve water for the next 72 hours while our water tank level is able to refill. We are also recommending that you do not wash white or delicate clothing during this period. Thank you for your cooperation.
