Country music star Luke Combs helped make a Maine boy's 12th birthday extra special Friday night.

Bo Fenderson and his friend, Tanner, wanted to see Combs perform in Bangor last weekend.

In order to pay for their $100 tickets, Fenderson and Tanner stacked wood until they earned enough money to go to the show.

The two boys brought signs to hold in the crowd and show Combs what they accomplished to see him in concert.

When the singer noticed the signs, he sat down on the stage and began talking to the boys.

Combs then reached into his pocket and handed the boys $140 in cash, promising to get them the rest of their money back when they took a tour backstage after the show.

He also took pictures with Fenderson, Tanner and Fenderson's family.

According to CNN, Combs also refunded tickets from his concert in Bangor on Saturday because he wasn't feeling well.
