BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Blair County officials say at least one person was injured in an eight-vehicle crash on Interstate 99 Tuesday morning.
According to officials, I-99 was shut down for several hours as crews worked to clean up the crash.
Dispatchers say I-99 north bound was closed at Exit 15 in Claysburg and Exit 23 in East Freedom Township.
Several commercial vehicles were involved in the crash and at least one person was taken to the hospital.
Information about the person’s condition wasn’t immediately available.
According to 511PA, all lanes were still closed just before noon.
