State police have released the identity of the suspect who shot and wounded a Pennsylvania State Trooper Wednesday morning in Northumberland County.

Authorities say Shaheen is now listed in stable condition.
The wounded trooper, whose identity is not yet known, has since been released from the hospital.
State police say all individuals involved in the incident have been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
According to a state police PIO, the Pennsylvania State Trooper who was shot Wednesday morning in Northumberland County has been released from the hospital.
Investigators say the trooper was shot in the leg during an exchange of gunfire with a suspect who was reportedly involved in a domestic incident.
Police say the unidentified suspect was also shot and is listed in critical condition.
Authorities have also not released the identity of the wounded trooper.

Authorities say a Pennsylvania State Police trooper was shot and wounded Wednesday morning while responding to a domestic disturbance in Northumberland County.
Investigators say the trooper was reportedly shot in the leg during an exchange of gunfire with the suspect.
Police say troopers were dispatched to assist Watsontown Borough Police with a domestic call along East 4th Street.
Investigators say the suspect reportedly fled the scene and was found a short time later at an apartment complex along 8th Street, in Delaware Township.
Authorities say gunfire was exchanged and both the trooper and suspect were shot.
Troopers say both were transported to a nearby hospital.
Authorities say the trooper's injuries are non-life-threatening while the suspect is listed in critical condition.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
